| Yeah...you played it fine and extracted the maximum out of it and got your chips all in with the third nuts. You have to go all in there...you just got unlucky that someone was holding 99. | ||

| theres no way of not losing big in that situation. After the flop you were dead. The only criticism i have is not even getting involved from the beginning and not play that hand. | ||

| I think a hand like this stresses the risks involved in slow-playing anything but the nuts. If you make a big bet post-flop (instead of checking around) you would have had at least some idea that one of the other players had a hand. In this case, unfortunately, you walked into the river completely blind. Tough beat. | ||

| Not sure I would have played this with only 2 callers in front, but I probably would have. I definitely would have only called and not raised pre-flop, but it wouldn't have made a difference as I would have just ended up broke after the hand anyway. | ||

| Does the US wake up at 10 o'clock or sth? :-) Thanks for your comments... i liked the look of them and thought let's raise, i knew i was right when the flop came, until i saw the showdown... never mind... as Bart suggested, i just laughed | ||

| After that flop, I think there's nothing you can do. There is no way you're laying down that hand, so that's just a very unlucky lucky flop. But I'm curious as to your thinking pre-flop. Were you trying to win the pot right there with your pre-flop raise? In general you would only want to play a hand like that with a decent group of callers; but in NL I would want to stay away from a hand like that regardless of the number of callers. You got the perfect flop for it, but I would worry more about flopping four to a flush or four to a straight. That kind of flop can get you into real trouble in NL. | ||

| You risk 200 chips on 98s with two limpers?? Muck that cheese, I wouldn't even call with it. Don't throw away chips this early in a SNG on speculative crap like this. 5-6 limpers, then I'll limp. After the flop, you're dead, no way you're getting away from this one. | ||
