| Do you think that with the limited time you have to make a decision online that that will transfer to live games? As in looking at the cards and coming up with odds and such. | ||

| In my experience it is about the same and not really a problem. Be polite and ask for time occassionally if you have a really tough decision to make. Otherwise just think it through as you would online. An important point is that you should already be thinking about what type of hand you are on (ie flush draw) and what flops (2 suited) will make your odds before it occurs. At that point you are simply seeing who is betting and estimating who is likely to bet so you can determine a good estimate of pot or implied odds. Also, in my limited experience most situations are pretty straight forward. ie you either have many callers and thus the right odds or few callers and thus in correct odds. The tough ones are when you have a bordeline amount of callers and thus need to really calculate what you are gettting and what you are likely to get. If you use position to your advantage and save you drawing hands for late postion this becomes easier as most of the information you need has already occurred. I am rambling now and will stop | ||

You can look at charts or use a calculator online 2. Online you always know what's in the pot where in person you must count bets or guess, inaccuracies are bound to happen.
