| Gentlemen, Just starting out myself. Computers and Poker, I know that Pot Odds are very important, but what about the hand expecting. Great pot odds may not mean much when you hold 3-6 os, but AA's on the button they would. Question is there a poker program where I could select a hold and run it against a life time of random hands, Calling to the River. This may give me a feel for the hands real value. This simulation against a full table, 3/4 table, 1/2 table, and less might prove very helpfull. Thanks for any input Rick B. | ||

| just one more thing, I've heard that Mike C. has a program called "Prob". I have never seen it advertised, but maybe someone out there may know how to get a copy. Could this be what I'm looking for? Wilson software ? I don't know. Thanks for your time.... | ||

| Wilson Turbo Texas Hold'em has a simulation mode that lets you stack the deck to give a particular seat a particular hand every deal. You can then place a specific player(they have many different ones to choose from as well as the choice to create your own) in each seat at the table(anywhere from 2-10). The simulation deals up to millions of hands and has some graphs and things to look at afterward. It's helped me narrow down alot of my starting hand requirements over the past few weeks as well as give me some idea of the value of each one. | ||

| yes there is texas turbo holdem available from wilson software in green valley az 800-735-4430. has ability to do random tests. also allows you to play on a table and select your opponents from pre loaded list. also has test ability to loan your decision making grid into system and run millions of hands against specified opponents but decision making grid is quite complex. cost $89.95 | ||

| over most if not all of the free poker simulators that are out there- it's not a hot-n-cold simulator (although you can set that up and i believe the Turbo Holdem has a no-foldem simulation available already). Therefore, you won't be facing 8 random hands, and it will therefore come closer to approximating real-world results. | ||

| Get the Wilson Software program, "Texas Turbo Hold-Em." It allows you to select a lineup from some 30 or so "profiles" and, in fast-play mode, you can run off a couple hundred thousand hands before analyzing the results. Kennycatkiller | ||
