| First of all, I am not sure I would have called a re-raise with JJ from the small blind...not enough odds there and despite the fact that it is a LL game, someone could very well have a bigger pair than you. I like your play until the turn when the 4th heart falls. In my mind, that is a check and call situation. It is not likely someone would call you with any hand that didn't at least contain one heart, so betting is a bad move. However, you now have 10 outs to your boat, so the pot is certainly laying you proper odds to call a bet. Also, if you check and someone decides to slowplay a big heart, you get a free look at the river which is good in this case because it is likely you are behind. Unfortunately, since you don't hold any hearts, I think you need to fold the river. If it were just a bet to you with 1 other opponent, you should probably call because the pot is big. But, a bet and then a raise into a board with 5 of a suit (in a LL game at least) signifies a war between two hearts. So, I highly doubt that you are splitting the pot here. Save your $$ and fold. | ||

| I would have either check-raised or check-folded the turn, based on my opponents. I want nothing to do with the hand after the turn if they don't fold to my raise. But as Shorn said, I'm not sure JJ is good to play in the first place with so few players. on 18. | Eman you should fold the river but don't even think of folding the turn if someone bets here. The pot is offering you plenty of money to call to fill up as well there is likely multiple bet profit potential on the river if you do make a fullhouse and someone holds the ace of hearts. Good luck!!! GRANT PITTMAN | ||

| Eman, I'm not sure I understad exactly who's in this hands with you because you have the button raising and then folding before anyone else called? Just a little confussion. I think like many questions in regards to poker hands the answer to your hand is "it depends." You failed to give any info as to your reads on your opponents...IE are they tight or maniacs, etc, etc. With pocket J's I probably would of re-raised from the small bind if I thought my opponents were maniacs and probably would of dumped it if they were solid and only capable of raising with Q's or better. I really don't like just calling with them. The rest of the hand is simply a bad board and nothing you could of done about it. You did have the odds to call down the flop and turn the river is probably a fold. | ||

| In my original post, i meant to say the BB folds to the raise preflop, not the button. But anyway, I ended up folding my hand. The MP player had 10, 10 and the button had J,10. They ended up splitting the pot. I was a little bugged by it. | ||

| Still a good fold. 95-99 times out of 100, one or both of them will have a flush, so unless the pot contained more than 94 big bets, you have to fold. | ||

| True, but a King high flush was on the board. The only cards they might be playing is the A or Q of hearts. But looking back, if they had A or Q, they would have raised on the turn. | ||

| Who is to say they werent playing pocket pair below Tens that had 1 heart (say 99)? Actually, if you have the Ace of hearts, no reason to raise the turn unless you are afraid of a boat by someone. Lots of players like to trap with the nuts on the turn and wait for the river to raise. Regardless, I fold your hand to that board 100% of the time against two players, one of which has bet and the other raised. Sure, this time you would have split three way, but this time is the once or twice in a career exception. | ||

| Fold! The absolute best you can hope for is a share of the pot, and then only if no one has a heart higher than the lowest one on board. | ||
