| I'm interested in learning Omaha and O8 much more, but it seems as though there isn't much written on the topic. I have Phil Hellmuth's book, and Ray Zee's Hi-Lo split book is in the mail. I've also read Steve Badger's site numerous times. Can anyone else recommend any books or websites with good Omaha info? Lee | ||

| Ciaffone has a couple of books on PLO, which I believe to be the best on the market. He doesn't really discuss omaha/8 in these, though. There is definitely a shortage of good written material on the game. I just finished previewing a new book due out later this fall by Lou Krieger and Mark Tenner on Omaha 8/b, which will definitely be worth checking out - it has some info which I haven't seen anywhere else. | Thanks for the tips about Ciaffone's book. I loved "Middle Limit Hold'em" and that book gave me a lot of respect for Bob Ciaffone and Jim Brier. Do you think that Bob Wilson's Turbo Omaha software would be a good investment Mark? Lee | ||

| the simulation analysis is good to have for Omaha and O/8. Being able to replay the hand and use different tactics, being able to set different "real" lineups and players.... I don't think you'll find equivilant results from free-play online, because I doubt most players take that seriously at all- hard to learn when people aren't playing "for real" | ||

| Lee, I very much enjoy reading Michael Cappelletti's articles in Card Player Magazine. He has a book about O8 (not sure if it will be O8 only or Omaha high too), coming out soon. Cardoza publishing, I think. 4POKER's posts on this forum have lots of really great O8 stuff. Also: http://www.lowlimitomaha.com/index.htm Snorbolus on 16.
