Playing .5/1 at Empire. Limped in from the button with 33. Flop is 3JJo. Checked to fourth position he bets, all fold to me, raise, fold to third position call, fourth raise, I cap, third and fourth call. I figure fourth position has tripped his J, but no clue why third was staying without having a hand worth raising. Turn is Q. Same betting as before third checks, fourth and I cap with third calling all the way. River is Q...uh oh. Third checks, fourth bets, and I give a crying call. Third calls and wins with Qxo. The pot was $40.00. Very large for this limit. Two seconds later he leaves the table. Just seems a little wierd to me.

Get used to it. You will see that over and over and over again at that limit. The guy was probably on tilt and called the flop betting with nothing. Then, when he hit 1 Queen, he wasn't going anywhere.

what do you expect playing 50 cent / 1 dollar ? Why would these online sites want to scam you out of your money? They are making tons of money from the rake and thus would be discouraged from cheating their customers. Quit blaming the sites and start re-evaluating the games that you are playing.

yeah they make money but to continually make money they NEED to keep the fish afloat. If the went broke like they should in 1 or 2 days with the number of hands dealt per hour then would you be coming around to play? The fish bring the sharks and wannabe and sharks. If the system is handicapped towards a bad player then more money goes to the bad players, keeps them afloat and brings in other customers. The circulating of money is key as that way money keeps leaving the table via rake. It isn't handicapped enough so that a good won't be winning, he just won't be winning as much. Online poker has been real good to be the past 8 months as I've paid off my school loans and put a down payment with my winnings online. but there are definite flaws

I wasn't serious about the scam. It just looked kinda odd. I have only been playing online for about a month. I ended up winning overall for the evening and now my bankroll is sufficient to move up to the $1/$2 games. Taking it in stages. By the way just because you think someone is out to get you doesn't mean they aren't......lol.

WELL, WELCOME TO THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF MICRO-LIMIT
HOLD EM!!!!!

REMEMBER WHO YOU'RE DEALING WITH HERE: PROFESSIONAL

PEOPLE, WHO CAN AFFORD A COMPUTER, SAW THE TRAVEL

CHANNEL, AND WANT TO GET IN ON THE ACTION. TO THESE

PEOPLE, TEN BUCKS IS LIKE A PENNY.

PLAYERS AT THE LIMIT YOU DESCRIBE, CAN CALL

WITH BLANK CARDS, HOPING THE BOARD WILL PAIR.

IT SEEMS THAT YOU ARE SUGGESTING THAT THESE PEOPLE

WERE PLAYING PARTNERS.

ANYONE STUPID ENOUGH TO WASTE THE CONSIDERABLE

EFFORTS TO PLAY PARNERS AT THE .50 LEVEL, WOULD

BE TOO STUPID TO KNOW HOW TO DO IT.

OH, I'M NOT SAYING THAT IT'S NOT POSSIBLE, JUST NOT

PROBABLE.

MOST LIKELY , YOU JUST RAN INTO SOME HAPLESS GOOBER,

WHO JUST WANTED TO BASK IN THE GLORY OF WINNING,

AND REST ON HIS LAURELS, WITH HIS WINNINGS.

ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN, WHEN THE BET IS TOO SMALL TO

GET PEOPLE OUT.
