33 in the big blind, check to see the flop along with 2 others

Flop: 3sAs5h
I bet, UTG raises, next guy folds, I reraise, he caps, I call

Turn: Jc
It's capped again

River: 7s
I bet, he raises, I call.

Eihli I would have played your hand the way you did on the flop and the turn. However on the turn when you 3 bet and he caps it you have to seriously consider you are in trouble here. I would have check called the river in most cases. Good luck!!!! GRANT PITTMAN

He showed 2d4d for the flopped straight.

I would have check called the river is the only difference. You showed strength 3-betting on both the flop and turn and he still capped. You made him pay in case he was drawing or had 2 pair, so that is good, but you have to figure that you may be behind.

You did not say whether your opponent made the flush, but I assume he did. Surely he did not have a set of Aces and limp pre-flop?
With that flop/turn, I would have put in every bet/raise possible, and, if my opponent sucked out on me, I would have gritted my teeth and said "Nice Hand," and moved on to the next hand.
