I have been playing a lot of LL, reading LL material and actually doing well... much thanks to everyone's help here too. All of the live games I will soon be playing (both w/ friends and local casino tourneys) will be NL though. I have played a little, but I am having a difficult time knowing how much or little to bet accordingly. I seem not to raise enough when I'm trying to get players out, etc. Just basically having a difficult time knowing what my bets should be to keep players in and vice versa. Obviously, the limit games are a completely different animal, but at least I know how much my bets should/allowed to be, right?
Any help with this issue would be much appreciated!

No Limit is tough you will go through a lot of swings up and down and it is only meant for those who can
keep there composure. Unlike limit poker, no limit is much more of a game of feel and reading your
opponets. It really has little to do with the cards. Having good cards helps ofcourse, but more
importantley is knowing what your opponet has. I play a very tight style in no limit but agressive. In other
words when you get the cards bet them and bet them heavily. If you think you have the best hand bet it
like you do. You can't have fear in no limit or else they'll jump all over you. You got to have respect from
your opponets. They got to know that when you bet you most likely have the strong hand. Once you get
this reputation you can now open up your game a little. Bluff more and win more pots. But I would
defineatly establish myself as a tight agressive player. That is ofcourse my style you may differ.

In NL tournament I bet my strong hands AKs AA KK QQ usually with a bet of 5x the big blind, if another player raises and I have AA move all in or make a raise to the amount of chips they have. If you have the best hand at the flop, on something that wasn't a crazy preflop raise hand, bet it like you mean it, try to screw the odds on someone calling you down on their four card straight to a very difficult decision if you have the chips to do so. The other strategy that I've been working on getting better at is giving odds for someone to pay me when they drawing dead to the locked nuts on the flop, personally I hate slow playing, I like betting, raising or folding. I find being a rabid pit bull when you have it and backing down when you don't is the only way to go with NL. It is true once you have have been called down on your nut hands and won, that your bluff ability becomes so much stronger, stealing the blinds becomes easier and bluffing the flush or straight becomes much more profitable. The only thing I enjoy more than stealing the blinds from the poor is stealing them from the rich :)
