| Hey Andrew, 'Just wanted to thank you again for the information you provided (a little while ago) on the Windows Messenger Pop-Up Ads. I didn't get around to doing it until just this week, (I know, I'm a procrastinator, lol)!......But anyway, it worked perfectly....no more annoying pop-up ads; for as soon as I followed the "easy" instructions......it worked instantly, I couldn't believe it! I'm so happy now!.......So thanks again Andrew, you're a lifesaver! Dave | ||

| Shame on Microsoft for refusing to document this. Freedom to end messenger intrusions should be free. Thus the motivation to post the educational link. It's very hard to find the off switch, and it also looks scary to the casual user, but it is 100% safe and 100% effective. Glad to help. | ||

| Oh yeah, I am defintely what you would call the casual user, indeed. I never would have been able to find the off switch! (to tell ya the truth, I don't even know what you're talkin' about...lol)!! So you can see....that your post was *extremely valuable information* for me, and that's also probably the main reason why I took so long to try it. I trusted your opinions on its safety 100%, but I didn't quite trust my "computer knowledge?", as to whether it was going to be a difficult task, or an easy one. But like I said, it was so easy, and I wanted to kick myself in the ass for not attempting it sooner!........I owe ya' one. . | ||
