Loving poker vs. making $, PBG, 13. Sep 2003 08:51

There are a LOT of people who claim to want to make a living playing poker. It seems that there's an emphasis on "how can I make more money?" instead of "how do I improve my game/attitude and learn as much as I can?" Thankfully, I can say that the majority of individuals at this site concentrate on the latter. Although ultimately making money is the objective, the path to it is created through love of the game and intense study.

It's really a shame that there isn't more poker tournament footage that can be watched, not just of tthe final tables of WPT and the WSOP, but of smaller localized tournaments as well. I'd be poring over it for hours on end if there were. Now I can't remember what I was going to say. Dang I'm old.

old at 25? Latina named Alyssa Chang? you are complex PBG. Televised poker is relatively new in U.S, was not TV friendly in the past, but as stated in a recent Time article, it is now considered very TV friendly. The first to devise a live format for TV poker will make a fortune, Study hard, play hard, dont drink when you play, never use drugs. If you can do those things, the money will follow.
