| I've got to vent this pet peeve of mine to the forum. Sorry if it bores you. I can't stand it when a player takes what they think is a bad beat, then spends the next 5 minutes absolutely flaming the winning player. I swear with the best of 'em at my computer screen, but I would never drop F-bombs on a guy because he risked his stack on getting a runner-runner flush, and it comes true. Is it just me? That is just plain stupid, it ruins the game for everybody else, and it's very hurtful as well. Just pity the poor soul who chooses to be abusive, and take advantage of his weaknesses and lack of self-discipline; and to "reassure" the player who just played a bad hand........just tell him, "hey, nice hand.......good for you"! Keep them happy so they'll continue to play that way, and perhaps they will overlook what "Mr Stupid" just said, AND....... You get to "kill two birds with one stone"- you make the bad player feel good about his decisions, and you get to say F*** you to the idiot in the game by not actually saying it; but he'll be steamin'......trust me! 4P- | ||

| Hey, I am right with you there pal! Read my post on verbally abusive people...I got some really terrific advice! The best advice I have received it block the moron. I did it last night during a tourney and it worked....turned out every one else did too! LOL, so I guess he was talking to himself the whole time and wound up finishing last. Ha, serves him right! | Some people are just jerks ... and sometimes losing hurts. I've been guilty of it before ... like when you're sitting in a big PLO8 game, holding the nut low, the second nut flush, and top set on the turn, get all in, and lose it all when your low gets counterfeited, you don't make the tight, and somebody else has the nut flush. And the guy who won the thing called your preflop raise with Ac9c4h5s or some garbage like that and is sitting on $500 of your hard earned money. Yeah...though I think my comments don't go farther than "Jesus Christ! Did it hurt shoving the whole horse in there?" | ||
