I'm sitting at a live game and the guy next to me is not protecting his cards well. Its hard not to look because he's on my right so he's acting right before me.

What do I do?

I would look and see what his cards are. It is his responsibility to
protect his hand. Just try not to be too obvious about it. Make sure to cash in on the knowledge.

I've had the same thing happen. I'll warn him once (probably the -EV thing to do) as I like to think I'm fairly ethical. After that I'll take the free info all day long if he doesn't heed my warning.

Ethical thing to do is warn him/her once - then take their money. Scroom.

.........Do whatever you feel is best for "you". If you think you should warn him about it, then tell him. If you don't, and you want to take advantage of something like that, then that will (should) be your decision to make.
