| I have a question concerning head to head tournament play. How do the blinds work relative to the button and who leads off betting when there are just two players? Thanks for your help, I find this forum very useful. Brent | ||

| It is my understanding that the game starts with the button. Therefore, the button is also the big blind, since the player to the left of the button is the small blind. Small blind must call BB to stay, as usual.........and lead the first round of betting, as usual. So with 2 players, the BB is the Button, or is it the Button is the BB. Whatever. | ||

| I definitely would like some clarification on this, because I always get confused on when it's correct to skip a blind when someone is knocked out, and where the button should stay/go once the next button is eliminated.......etc etc etc on 11. | Heads-up the button is the small blind and acts first. The only real confusion is when it is three handed and one player is knocked out. If the big blind is not the player who is eliminated, he gets the button next hand. Otherwise the button goes to the player who didn't have it that hand. This can result in the same player posting two consecutive small blinds, but never two consecutive big blinds. | ||

| 'Heads Up Play': The button is the small blind and will only act first before the flop, but will act last (second) after the flop. | ||
