| I want to address the bad blood that is starting to boil between Gary and Craig. First off, I like both of you and I don't want to take sides here. RGP has proved to be a breeding ground for this crap and I don't want it here. I'm taking a neutral stance on this one. First of all, who cares how old anybody is here? This is the internet is it not? Don't we all exist here as spiritual entities - a soul with no age, gender, or nationality? If Craig is here looking for tips on how to play poker well then I welcome him. If he's here looking for tips at getting into cardrooms when he's underage, that is a valid concern too and I welcome him to post about it in "not quite poker" ... as for doing illegal things, while I don't outright condone breaking the law, it is none of my business what somebody else does and if he asks me for theoretical advice and I don't have a beef with what he intends to do, so long as I don't know the specifics involved I will lend my experience. When things base down to flaming it hurts the flamer and it hurts the board and in doing so it hurts everybody here. I want to see this place retain its cordial and jovial atmosphere and that means work on the part of every poster to remain decent to eachother. So please, everybody - cut Craig a little slack as he's young and cock-sure and Craig - please cut the other posters here a little slack. Many of them forget what it is like to be a kid. | ||
