I was playing paradise poker .50/1 game the other day and got into a game where the betting was often capped with six or more players in before the flop. I played super tight and took down a couple of $20 plus pots. Is that the best strategy in a loose wild game or is there more I could do to maximize my winnings?
Second unrelated question I had AK three times in an hour and did not catch a draw on any of them. Hit the king on one and got beat by a set. When should you lay AK down I raised each time got it down to two or three players. Should I fold the flop in nothing good comes or call one bet to the turn if the flop does not look scary?
I have pretty much given up on bluffing in these games I have people go the the river with 44 when there is AKJkA on the board.
Thanks for the advice. Don

You can bluff when you smell weakness, but you have to know your players. If you get ak and there si only 1 player I suggest to bet it all the way. Most likely the other player is on a similar hand and hasnt caught anything. If your cards are worth a bet you be the one to bet them. Don't check. Even if you lose on the showdown you have now establish you will bluff and it will make you money later on.

As far as wild betting the correct way to play is tight agressive. When you have the hand don't be afraid to bet it. In the long run you will profit substantially. You may get a few bad beats here and there. You won't be able to move that many people but when you have your strong hands you dont want them moving anyways. As you will make more money.

when its loose i think its ok to be involved in more deals because one often doesnt need much of a hand to be succesful. you can also be much more aggressive with strong hands naturally because they call often.
pots get bigger so you can afford to see more flops because the potsize is significantly bigger than in tight games. try to see the flop cheaply when you can, see what develops, but when holding some strenght in the holes bet more so you build the pot for yourself
