Please read the paragraph below. It comes from the greeting of the home page of the UPF. This forum is for everyone's benefit (posters and lurkers alike). It works best when we (as a group) leave our ego's at the door. This is a moderated forum, for the simple reason that many people are unable to do so. If each of us try to set a good standard for others to follow, then friction between posters would be few and far between. - Nathaniel Brous UPF is moderated and we reserve the right to edit or delete messages, with or without cause. Our motive will be to promote a forum that is friendly and rich in opinions, while avoiding hostility, libel, overt commercialism, and profanity. We expect posts to be respectful. We will try not to be heavy-handed in editing or deleting posts, though. And we won't always monitor everything posted, so sometimes we'll rely on our members to bring questionable posts to our attention.

| Excellent post Nathaniel. In addition I would point out that respect must be earned. If one would like to be treated with respect, one might consider behaving in a way which deserves it. -Moz "That man is a Brownie-hound." | ||

| Excellent posts Nathaniel and Mozman. There should be very little tolerance of posts like the root of this one. Lee | ||

| Chris- This is the kind of post that will ensure that the other posts you contribute, be they questions or otherwise, are ignored by all. In order to become a better player, you must be willing to accept (in fact want and demand) constructive criticism by other players. I for one have learned something from most of the posters here whether or not they are pro or beginner players. You must learn that NO ONE has cornered the market on poker knowledge. Gary has been a contributor for as long as I can remember and his opinions are valued by the rest of the group. I know that you are just beginning your quest to have a poker career and with time you may well blossom into the poker player that you want to be. However, I caution you not to burn the bridge that is this resource (UPF) which could help you reach your goals sooner than even you expect. Steve | ||

I appreciate it greatly. Remember, this is a stress-free poker zone. Straight Flushes, Mike Caro

| Chris...This site is NOT here to post anything you want....I have left this post up...But future ones of this demeanor WILL be deleted. I think you should read Nathaniels post...I could not characterize it any better.....This forum is for all to use in a friendly and respectful manner........Your post is not either!.....Gary is a bright fellow and you will do well listening to what he says.....Although I was not too good at listening at 15 either! | I don't like to see bickering on *MY* playground. You guys both need to cool your jets and just ignore eachother if you can't get along. I've been guilty of all of it in the past myself and I probably will be again, but what we need is a little solidarity, so please try to do your part. I'll also point out that Gary has a lot of seniority here and his word currently holds more water than yours. | ||

| All I've done is leave acceptable post's asking constructive question's looking for answer's. And many of you have helped me. But the last post I left Gary was just rude and deserved that post. And my name's Craig not Chris(no harm done). | ||
