Limping in on small blind, Stl10202, 9. Sep 2003 06:03

I read somewhere that it would be somewhat profitable to just call the small blind with a monster hand (Like AA,KK,AKs). If your flop comes you can slowplay or bet, if it doesn't you can check and save your money. My first question is: does anyone know where I read this from? And of course, how do you poker players out there feel about this?

I believe this comes from one of Mike Caro's audio lectures, and I believe the situation is for when it is down to you and the big blind. Check the archives at cardplayer.com.
