| My hold 'em education began a little shy of 5 months ago - I read just about all there was to read about the game and began applying my new found knowledge to the 'bottom' limit games online (1st Party Poker & then UB) - I experienced a looonnng period of frustration and losing to bad beats and atrocious play. I didn't give up, instead I moved up - gradually - in limits. While i'm still playing at the top end of the bottom limits, the discipline I learned in the peewee leagues has begun to pay off - I've made back my initial 'investments' and am in the black with a tiny little freeroll stake! Yipeee! Certainly not the thousands I read about here, but hey, there are many more games to come, right? I've read some good advice here, as well, and my thanks goes to you pros for taking the time for helping us lil' fish get some teeth! -----Maud | ||
