| I don't tell bad beat stories but do tell 'good win' stories, here's one of my favorites: Playing $40/80 mix at the bike. Getting low on chips I bought what would be my last rack (loss limit in place). I lost all of that but 4 $10 chips. I decided to play to my blind and if I caught a hand to go all in, if not to cash out $40 at least. Found a hand and went all in - 4 way action + SB - I won $180. Two hands later I come in for a raise - win the pot and doubled up. Then the table fell apart. It was 3-handed....then two...then three again...finally, 12 hours later when I left we had been heads up for 3 hours and I walked to the cage carrying 12 full racks. Sure makes a case for not just throwing those last few chips into the pot doesn't it? :-) | ||

| Nice Good Win story and very nice win. I've always been curious how the mid-limit mix games are, could you give a little more info on what the deal is in these games? Do they play a set mix or is it up to the players? Is it a hassle switching from one game to the next? Is it fun? Which games offer the most profit? I think there would be some great money making opportunities in these games and I hope they become more popular. | ||

| Formless, Yes, mix games are almost exclusively played with a set mix - anywhere from 2-10 which change every 10 hands or each dealer change. If they change every 10 hands then someone is in charge of moving a pile of 10 markers (usually use missed blind buttons or other such markers) from one pile to another to keep track. I prefer the game changes on the dealer push, there is alot less confusion over whether the person in front of the marker remembered to move it that hand. As to which games are most profitable, this is where being adept at many forms of poker pays off. You can get someone who is deadly at stud but poor at holdem to actually play holdem with you. Knowing your players and being a well rounded player really pay off in these games. | ||

| Your story sucks, it is just awful. You dont describe any of the hands and it is just one big rant about how you wasted 24 hours of your life at a B & M and came out up some money. COOL! | ||
