| I've been playing texas hold em for about 3 or 4 months online, or with my friends nothing big. Which books would you recommend to get, and in what order, because i can probably only get one at a time. Thanks a lot! | ||

| I would suggest that if you want to play Limit Hold em and you have never read any books get Hold em poker ( not the advanced version just yet ) by David Slansky or Low limit hold em by Lee Jones. I would say that the Theory of Poker and Super system are probably better purchasing with your winnings from the knowledge you gain from Slanksy and Jones Chasepoker | ||

| KaBuKi, I think you should buy More hold em Excellance by Lou Kreiger and read it a few times. Then get Real Poker the Cooke Collection. Hold off on Sklansky's HEPFAP or HEP untill after you have a firm basic understanding of the game. I got em all and I think those two are your best bet. get them at <www.conjelco.com> if you cant afford the 50 bucks these two books will run you. you should be playing nickel dime, quarter max. on 7.
