| UPF does improve your play! Many thanks to the players that take the time to post interesting and thought provoking commentary. Today I decided to try out one of the Pokerstars MultiTables. I entered the $10+$1 Pot Limit Holdem tournaments, ... so did 432 other players. A few hours later I was on the final table (9 players at Pokerstars) in 9th chip position. Using UPF skills (no other word for it guys ...), I fought back to finish 4th, winning $303.10. flintsword | ||

| That's great flintsword, but I'm sure, after have reading many of your posts, that you accomplished this one all on your own.......good job:) By the way, your post on the "explanation and clarification of pot odds" was outstanding, as it was *very* reader friendly. 4P- | ||

| Congratz... Wants to be a UPF Striker as well..=) anyway went out in the Party Poker III semi-final, and must agree with Mike, wasn't fun to watch ones 1500 stack compared to the others 3000 just because you had won a satellite-qualification instead of paying the 200$....Under those circumstances I would rather play it NL than fixed... | ||

The entry fee to the tournament (cash or from Satellite) entitles you to 1000 in chips. You can "earn" up to another 2000 by playing ring games or sitngos during the preceeding month at Party. Nobody "bought" in for 3000 chips directly. You simply failed to take advantage of being able to earn more starting chips. | ||
