| What do you mean by "blackjack machine?" Generally rules like 6 cards winning a prize, 777 winning a prize, etc have standard payouts for the houses that offer them. For a complete listing of all such games and all of the prizes that they standardly pay, see Standford Wong's book "Professional Blackjack." | ||

| Some places have Blackjack machines, where there is a big screen in the middle that is the "dealer" and (usually) 5 consoles with individual screens that are for the players to sit at. You put you money in the machine and push the buttons to choose how much to play, when to hit, stay, split, double... and it plays just like live BJ. Usually, you play in whole dollar amounts and the max bet is usually something fairly small like $8 or $10. -Moz "That man is a Brownie-hound." | ||

| That's a good idea. The machine could also then be tuned in to watch for card counters, by counting down the deck itself and looking for players who take advantage of positive counts. I've seen the Roulette machines that work like this when I was in Vancouver. Basically you have consoles on which to bet on the wheel instead of flinging chips around...it works well. | ||
