If you're looking for cheap, check the library first. If you're anti-library, you can buy overstock books online at huge discounts. Overstock.com is one of several overstock sites.

LOL! Just the other day I was looking for poker books at the Hamilton County library (downtown Cincinnati, Ohio). When their catalog turned up about 100 available poker books, including all of the old favorites (Sklansky etc), I was stoked!

Guess what, when I got to the poker section there was NOT ONE POKER BOOK there!!! They had all been stolen!!!

I'm sure this reflects more the lawless ghetto atmosphere of Cincinnati than the character of typical poker players, at least I hope so! :-)

I don't know of any one place which is cheaper than another but the value you recieve from the Gamblers Bookstore in Las Vegas includes some knowledgable people who are very willing to help. They can be reached at
1-800-522-1777 and will send you a free catalog if you request it.

The first place I look, on-line, for poker books is Chuck Weinstock's www.conjelco.com

Chuck is a poker player and a great guy. The prices are good and the service is great. ConJelCo is also the publisher of classics like "Winning Low Limit Hold'em: by Lee Jones and "Serious Poker" by Daniel Kimberg.

nev, I am finding them increasingly easier to find. I have gotten all of my books at Borders; they're carrying them all now.
