| So anyways Im talking to my friend when he says he can waste me and will take all my money in lunch in a holdem game. I start asking him a few questions.. He answers to the following questions with a no. He says he plays the following games like midnight baseball and 5 card stud and a few more like follow the queen after I tell him a little bit about what ik I tell him that games like folllow the qenn and midnight baseball require no skill what so ever and Im think to my self he think holdem and seven card stud need no skill either hes probally a chaser.. what do u think i should believe about this kid he is obviously a chaser and a fish but can i take him with my skills I would still consider myself a ameature but i have started reading one book and have played for real money before and i have played in 80 some odd freeroll tournys. This friend of mine says he is awesome im thinking of who he plays with and these people may not know a good hand from a terrible hand. also he says he plays for play money alot with friends im thinking hes going to draw me to the river and pick up a winning card its this good for me to be thinking or should I play my regular way very conservative cause were playing for quarters or should I push check raise and fold alot of hands looking for the next big card tell me if u think that this conservative strategy is alright with quarters and i can take this kid to the bank. "Do you play online" "Have you ever played with real money" this was a shady yes but i couldnt decide what was true and was not. | ||

| When playing for for fun (.25) Most people will stay in till the river and can not be bluffed. Now this being said I think you should take all of there money playing good hands. Winning you will look like a poker god and if you loose what is 10 bucks Take em down! | ||

| There are three ways to look like an idiot playing poker. 1) Play very very badly 2) Trash talking the fish while you're beating them so they won't play with you anymore 3) Telling everybody in advance how good you are and how badly you're going to beat them, then having a bad session. It doesn't matter how well you play - you'll look like a knob. Basically if you tell everybody how great you are you'll either win and not get another game or lose and look like a dip. | ||

| Yea! This kid has been talking like he's a pro thats how I'm reading him at this point I'm just going to shut my mouth and play smart poker. I think me playing conservative will pay off in the long run. Thank's but I also take some words of advice that I've heard Phil Hellmuth Jr. say If you dont play like your going to win than your not going to shut my mouth the whole time I'm going to give congrats when its needed and hope to recieve them back hope it will pay off in the long run. | ||

| Is this all a big joke? He's not a fish, he's a teenager playing for quarters during lunchtime. I've been pretty nice in my responses to you so far, but really- is this what you want out of life? So far you've told us: 1. you're practically begging for someone to transfer money to you so you can illegally play online 2. you're considering stealing from your parents for the money 3. you're looking for ways to beat down your friends who are just screwing around playing cards at lunchtime 4. you can't form a complete sentence Craig- get some perspective before you have no friends, no money, and no future. You're 15, you have plenty of time to f*** things up for yourself later. Eli on 2.
