| Does anyone have any advice on playin heads up against one player in both SitNGo's and 1 on 1 live games??? There is definetly a lot more bluffing and blind stealing going on. Any advice or guidelines would be much appreciated. | ||

| On UB there are many poor players who play heads ups way too aggressively. I find you can play pretty passive against these players, fold often, and give them enough rope to hang themsleves. If I encounter a player playing my style (descirbed above) then I get a little aggressive. The players will let go of enough pots to build your stack. The trick is not to get trapped yourself. | ||

| For SnGs, it depends on your stack size. If you are equal stacks, you should call from the SB to see the flop. Depending on your opponent, you have to decide if your hand is worth calling a raise before you call because some players will defend their blind by raising. If you are bigger stacked, you should raise often making it expensive for him to see a flop. If they are passive and you are successful in stealing, beware when they raise a hand. Pretty good chance they have a strong hand, best to fold and go back to stealing. If you are small stacked, you are going to have to take a stand at some point. Any Ax could be worth an all in, even Kx. If you have K2o and your opponent raises from the SB, look at your stack size and see how many hands you will get to see if you fold. If you have 1-2 hands worth, you might as well call to see the flop. | ||

| Eman when you play heads up you will need to prepare yourself for some huge swings since there will be a lot of marginal hands being played aggressively by both of you. You will also have to adjust to your opponents betting and see if there are flaws that can be exploited. It is not good enough to just wait for a good hand and bet since the blinds will eat you up. Also, it is quite pointless to play a strong heads up opponent even if you are also strong since the rake will eat both of you. Just a thought. GRANT PITTMAN | ||
