| Hi All: Has anyone heard of pokercharts.com? I wanted to ask before I gave them my e-mail and set up my account. What other good programs are there to keep track of playing stats? -Thanks | ||

| I have not heard of PokerCharts.com, but assume that it is some kind of statistics gathering system which some enterprising soul is selling. But, why buy when you can create? Use Lotus 1-2-3 or Excel spreadsheet. I set mine up as follows: Serial # (used for sorting) Date Time In Time Out Elapsed Time Casino Game Limits Internet or B&M? Amount Won Amount Lost Running Win/Loss Rating of My Play A+ to F-(reduced to numerical score of +7 to -7) Rating of My Luck A+ to F- Rating of Opponents' Skill A+ to F- Net Win/Loss for Session Hourly Net Win/Loss Comments With all this data gathered, you can do all sorts of nifty analysis, by using the =SUM, =COUNT, =AVG, =STD features of Excel (or equivalent Lotus command. | I use pokercharts and it seems on the up and up. I put my sessions in and get stats out, so it is all good. Certainly it isn't the most wonderful thing. I could do a lot better with Excell and an afternoon ... but I'd rather use pokercharts and spend that afternoon playing poker. | ||
