| It's bad taste. It's very unlikely that you get anyone to give you money. I'm sure there must be some other avenues to get money into an online account other than asking people you don't know on an internet forum. Lee | ||

| At the very least you could offer to mail someone the money and then have them transfer money to an online poker account for you. | ||

| Well, find somebody online that you trust. If you made an agreement to do it on here with one of the regulars, I'd think you could trust them. Of course they would have to trust you too, since there's always the potential that the money gets somehow lost along the way. You'd have to treat it like an ebay transaction, send money out into the world, and hope that what you paid for somehow materializes. | ||

| If your parents don't want you to put money into an online account, I know it sounds strange, but perhaps you shouldn't? I thought I knew better than my parents at 15, but I didn't... If they don't want you to, it's probably for good reason. Lee | ||

It's wrong because of the main reason that it's illegal, and what you are doing here is asking us to be a part of that. Do you think that's right? If you're so eager to play poker, then do what everyone else did before they had on-line poker sites; play with some buddies and play with your own money. If you can't afford to play, than you'll just have to wait until you can. But learn how it feels to lose your own money, and see for yourself if this is something that you still want to persue. You may think that right now your parents are being tough on you, but they only have your best interests in mind. You're even thinking about dipping in to your fathers credit cards???........you don't even know the difference between right and wrong yet my friend. If you want to play poker on-line then either wait until you are the legal age to do so or, wait until you have enough money of your own. Keep asking questions here as that may help you in the future, and I really do wish you all the best. 4 POKER | ||

| Just curious... why is it so necessary that you start playing for real money now? You have so many years ahead of you yet... No offense, but I wouldn't lend you $.50 to play a micro-limit table. Not because I don't trust you; but because I won't contribute to the delinquency of a minor, and because it's illegal, immoral and irrational. Play the play money tables, then when you are old enough to handle the responsibility of a credit card and a bank account, you can fund your play yourself. That way, you will respect your bankroll properly and your wins will be much sweeter. -Moz "You can't conquer the world with a shoddy olive." | ||

| Open a checking account and send a check or play live poker with your friends. That's what most of us old people had to do before these box things came along. Indiana Kid | ||

| I'm not going to go through the trouble of actually helping you, but I would just like to give you my support, and encourage you to do what you feel is right. A lot of people think that they know more because they are older, but this is often not true. Often we "learn" things that are actually wrong, or we think that we can project what we think we know about what is right and how to live, which is based on our own life and situation and experiences, to others, but their situation is so different that this just cannot be done. And oftentimes we forget about a life we don't lead anymore, and think that we can apply what we feel is right for the situation we are in now, on a situation that we have moved away from and actually forgotten. People change, and relearn, but oftentimes they don't get wiser. And there's nothing that says one can't get dumber with age. Some do, and almost all do in some area(s). Listen to advice, but always evaluate it from your own situation. My view on the topic at hand is that I think that you should be able to play. If I were your father I'd get a new debit card and let you use it. But I'm not, and I don't know you, and I don't see any reasonable way in which I can help you. So I won't. If you try to play somehow, just think about that if you do something that breaks the rules, you might be banned and not be able to play when you turn 18 or 21 or whatever age makes it legal where you live. Would it be worth that? The rules aren't always fair. Life often sucks. But don't do anything that might make it worse, if you don't think it's worth the price. I hope you find a way to play, but in a safe way. -URF | ||

| I am brand new here, but I have to chime in..... What did you expect? Do you often go to websites and just ask people to give you money? And does that work? I frquent discussion groups of particular music groups: should i just ask people to send me money for the new album i want, since I don't have spare cash for it now? Spend some more time in school, so you know the difference between "allowed" and "aloud." And mostly, I am offended by your complaining and whining, since you seem to think the answer is to steal your Dad's credit card. Well, I know we're not supposed to judge in this society, but it seems to me that theft is wrong in pretty much any moral system. I'm offended that you think you're going to find sympathy for your plans here - just because we like poker doesn't make us thieves and degenerates. Stop aspiring to be Worm from Rounders. | ||

| Hey Kid, save up some money from your allowance , summer job, paper route, and start a nickle dime quarter game with some afterschool friends. This is the way to go let me tell you . learn the game some plays and your opponents. And have fun too. dont borrow or steal money to gamble with. its just basically bad buisness. earn the money that way no one can give you crap about gambling it . If you lose it tough shit but at least you wont to put up with too much crap from someone else about dumping it off. I HATE TO SOUND LIKE A OLD FOGEY BUT STAY AWAY FROM HABITUAL DRUG USE or users. thats a sure way to fuck up your life. Others here will tell you the same. | ||

| Go to the side of the road and pick up pop cans. Recycle them and get money. Take this money to a bank and put it into a bank account. Get a netteller acount and fund it from that bank account. Deposit the money online. Done and done. Alternatively, if you trust me, you could send me cash (and you would be taking all the risk for it if it gets lost in the mail) in the mail and I could then transfer some money into an account you created on UB. I'd be willing to do that for you up to $200 USD (after that point I think it just becomes too much money to be mailing, really). I wouldn't charge you anything to do that. | ||

| Hey Kid, let me ask you if you got someone to do this simply transfer thier money to you would you please send me thier email address cause I have not seen a fish that big in the whole darn ocean. You also forgot something else as well that is what does this dummy get back for his money, that is simply let you make money off of his and then he gets nothing in return? Sweeten the pot here some right now you are showing a 2/3 off suit in your hand and trying to play your game like pocket aces. By the way I have been gambling since I was six sitting on my mothers knees at the slot machines, however when I did gamble on my own I had sense enough to get up off my thing and get my own cash flow. Everywhere in the world there is money to be made. But I have to admit It has been a long time since I heard a story like this and most likely you will get some whale of a bite out of it There is one thing tho remember whales bite back when they are angry and my guess is they have larger teeth than you. Good luck and good fishing....... I do agree with the others tho get up off your thing and get more of a life than reading the pay out boards at tourneys, and one last thought, you may end up in a tourney with your backer would it not make him feel good to be bounced out by you with one good hand, this is why players dont allow players to beg, to borrow cause in the end if they do they find the money is stolen and gone. | ||
