I would have to go all in here. That may very likely be the best hand your going to get before your blinded out, so you want to get your money in.

This is another good example of the "it depends" situations. Lee is right about getting your money in while you can, but how did you play before that point in the tournament? If you were a rock, your raise will be respected and you should win the blinds uncontested. If you were loose and aggressive, a player with a good holding (for example, someone with A Q ... ) may put you on a lesser holding and decide to call you, and get lucky. I am not saying this is the answer to your question, just pointing out that your table image is going to dictate how some people will react to you.

To answer your question, I would go all-in without too much hesitation and for your next tournament, point out that the success of your all-ins depend partially on the way you play your hands before it. Hope this different slant on your question helps. Good luck in your next tournament.

Thanks for advise. I had been at the table for about an hour but the one playerwho called had just showed up and had a won a few hands in a row so it may have been a feeling of being hot rather than my prior play. In anycase thanks for the thoughts. I am new at this forum but it appears quitre informative. regards bobk
