| Hey all. Back from Vancouver where the lovely Wreny and I spent last week. Of course I was here on Monday, but I've been catching up so much that this is the first chance I've had to poker my nose back into UPF. I have a lot of catching up to do. I see that I've been shelved in the Biographies to the bottom of the pile :( ... I'll live. I suppose I am less illuminated than the rest of the bios :) As for a trip report, I will say this much. The 10-20 (kill) at the Great Canadian Casino at the Holliday Inn on Broadway in Vancouver is just such an amazingly amazing game. I don't think 2 BB / hour would be an impossible average there for any solidish player who has read a couple of books. I hear that there is a good 6-12 Omaha game in Chinatown too ... will have to check it out next time I'm in town. | ||

| Thanks for the trip report. I've always been curious about the Vancouver poker scene. It seems to be a great 'poker town'. I've seen posts from time to time about the Holiday Inn game and I think it's always been killer. There are poker rooms all over BC and I just know there's gotta be some awesome games in small towns most have never heard of. Now that would be an awesome road trip... | ||

| Yup. I was there in December and the game was just as good. And yes, there are a *LOT* of casinos in British Columbia, all of them very small, some having cardrooms and some not. I hear there is a good Omaha8 game in Kelowna ... if the entire city hasn't burned to the ground yet. | ||
