| As much fun the 5/5 HE game at the lodge in Blackhawk can be, lots of loose play from people with huge stacks. Does anyone know of any "other" games outside the casinos that meet on a regular basis in Denver, CO? | ||

| Hah. If you find any, you let me know. I once even tried to find a game convinced that the owner of a poker accessories shop north of Denver would know of one. I was like "no seriously buddy, Im not a cop". Needless to say, he either didn't know of any, or didn't want me playing. I play every once in a while when I manage to dredge up enough friends, but those games are nothing I would bring a serious poker player into. They aren't for the money, the limits are laughable to anyone who looks to make some money, which only encourages bad play, exactly what you are trying to get away from. I must say I haven't pursued finding a game very hard, as online play has been profitable and is enough to hold me over. I just wish it was like the movies, where I could get a game whenver I wanted in some bar's back room. | ||
