| Hey guys: So I am going to be in Toronto from the 4th-10th. I will be playing in the UB NL tourney from my hotel room. Would love to hook up and play live, but have no idea how to get to Brantford from Toronto, how far, etc. Also, I have a very busy schedule that week, but I could probably get away Sunday night. How would I get there? Rent a car? Train? Bus? A car would cost me $30-40 to rent for the night (I think). A car service might be the best bet (but now I am cutting seriously into my profitability for the evening). Anyway, would love to see if we could figure it out. Be great to meet you guys. If you guys picked me up in Toronto, I would buy you dinner. Just an idea. MR | ||

| We're back though busy catching up, so I haven't been UPFing lately. Brantford is about a 30 minute drive from Toronto if there is no traffic. Just check mapquest to find the best route - it is near Hamilton. I think your best bet is taking the QEW (queen's express way) from downtown TO and then merging from there onto the 403 which will take you to Brantford - then if memory serves from that direction you take the Wayne Gretzky Parkway and follow the Casino signs. You could take a train or bus to Brantford - the bus station is walking distance from the casino - it is all up to you. If you do decide to run out to Brantford we'll definitely plan around it and meet you there, though it would have to be at night or on a weekend since we both have day jobs. Oh, and it wouldn't surprise me at all if there was a bus from Toronto that stopped right at the casino - you should ask about that. | ||
