| I'm planning on heading to AC for a day next weekend (Labor Day weekend). Probably Sunday. Wondering a few things... 1. Anyone interested in meeting up if in the area. I'm sure the place will be a zoo for the holidays. 2. I was there this past weekend. Played 2-4 Hold 'Em at both the Tropicana and the Taj. I liked both rooms but the Taj is definitely superior. From dealers to atmosphere to players. Most of the players at my table were my age (mid twenties) and were the 'play for fun' kind of players. I have no doubt that I would have won a decent amount if I could stay longer. The Tropicana had many more older players. Tighter games as well but not still loose enough to make it interesting. 3. Didn't get to the Borgata. Wondering how people feel it compares. That's all. I'm looking forward to getting back out there. If anyone wants to grab lunch or dinner or sit with me at the poor man's tables let me know. beigs | ||

| Taj may be superior to attracting fish, but the Trop is where you will find more regulars and a tighter game. Went to the Borgata. Nice poker room. Same color scheme as the Mirage if you ask me. AC needs the automatic card shufflers. It really speeds up the games. It's a real no-brainer. e-babes. | ||

| The auto shufflers came up during my game at the Tropicana. One player was wondering when they were getting them but the dealer knew nothing about it. I believe the quote was, "Why? Do you know something?" At least on the surface, it doesn't seem like the Trop will be making that move. on 25. | The Borgata is by far the nicest casino in Vegas - unfortunately the dealers are also clueless. I went there about a month ago and had to correct the dealers about every third hand (people checking pre-flop, checking after a bet, dealing the turn or river before everyone acted). A couple of times the dealer never noticed that my friend hadn't called a bet and let him continue playing. One tip, make sure you watch the board closely when you're waiting for a table - the sound system doesn't project well and I ended up missing my name twice. | ||

| I found the electronic board a big big plus. Good system, wave of the future. I also miss the electronic card shufflers that I saw at the Mirage and the Palms on my last trip. E-card shufflers will pay for themselves in a week. Geez, faster action, more pots to rake. Talk about a no-brainer. e-babes. | ||
