| CHECK BET I am putting the following sloution, which I asked earlier to clarify about when a Check option should be given to a player, back on forum as I found some contradictions in the solution itself. There is a slight confusion with what was said. Please go through the following text and try to clarify the point enclosed in **'s. If there is a bet to a player, he can not use a check as one of his options now. He can either call the bet, raise the bet, or fold. If he can't cover the full amount, he is still entitled to call whatever he has left and if he wanted to make the bet himself, he could also just put in whatever he had left even if it wasn't the complete amount. **There is no check/bet option.** There is a check/call option but calling and betting are two different things. Betting means that you were the one that initiated the bet (first to bet), where calling means that you were calling somebody elses bet in front of you. **But if the action is to you and noone has bet as of yet, then you have the option now to either check it along with them or put in a bet yourself.** <<PROBLEM : U see!! here either BET or CHECK. But u said earlier [There is no check/bet option.] >> There are no capped checking in poker.....only capped betting. If everyone checks on every round, then you are allowed to check as well. There's no rule stating that you can not check....you just can't check it if you're faced with a bet though. | ||

But u said earlier [There is no check/bet option.] >> There is no check/bet button per se, however you do have the option to check, bet, raise, or fold (depending on the action in front of you). It wouldn't make since to have a check/bet button for the simple fact if everyone checks to you....what will it do, check or bet? Your still forced to make that decision. | ||
