| I am suggesting a tournament between you, the UPF players, and the twoplustwo forum players. How about we get lets say 15 players from each site, then play a 30 player tournament at planet where you guys currently have the highest ranked tourney player 'beigs' If you guys get Mike or Roy to play I would love it :) Top half of the players get points as I stated before, maybe we can get planet to give some stuff to the winner? I have written them an email. 30$ buyin sound ok? limit holdem | ||

| We can have the top 15 finishers from our last tournament play. But can we play no-limit? Mike | ||

| I might be convinced to play, and $30 is good for me; but I reallllly don't want to play Planet again; and I would much prefer NL for a tourney. If you can go NL at UB, then I will be convinced. Also, I agree with the conversation you and Lee ( I think it was Lee ) had in the other thread about the whole team thing. Poker is not a team sport, and I expect the UPF players to be trying to take me out as hard as they are trying to take you out. Let's limit the whoe 'team' thing to a count of how many from each 'team' made the final table. -Moz "mmmm.... open faced club sand wedge." | ||

| I agree, I'd be interested, but only if the team part is dropped (or at least toned down) and if it's at UB | ||

| I would be interested in playing. I have not played in the UPF tourneys yet, so I would understand if you want me battle tested first. Anyway, I would play anywhere. If it is a planet, I have not played there yet. Let me know about any refer-a-friend bonuses. I've made $250 at Party doing this and would be happy to give any UPF contributor credit for bringing me in. Guinnessman | ||

| Planet also offers refer a friend bonus. I do not have an account at UB, and for a reason, I do not like Phil Hellmut at all, and a site that he promotes is uninteresting to me (unless it was something special, I mean I aint dumb :) So you guys want NL? I thought limit would be more fun since we got this rivalry going, being out of the game first pot aint no fun. | ||

| I didn't know there was a rivalry. Nice attempt to stir things up though. We're just too darn nice around here. "You're one of those agitators aren't you. I don't like agitators." - 4-Poker's old enough to know that one. on 22. Do me a favor.....if you can't say anything constructive to the posters here, and with good intentions......don't waste your breath or anybody elses valuable time, OK? Thank you. 4P- > > > on 22. | 4-Poker, thank you for the unprovoked dressing down. (While deleting all my worthless posts that might take up your valuable time, I accidentally deleted my response to you. Let's see if I can remember it all, hopefully you read it prior to deletion...) The movie was The Graduate, which would explain the age reference. I guess you'll have to tell us when it's OK to joke in our posts with regard to TV quotes and movie lines, as it's been going on for a few months, at a minimum. My response was towards the solicitor of the 'rivalry' tournament. This "tournament" is a way to get this forum to check out the other forum, and to get these players to play at Planet Poker. There was no meaningful discussion going on. I recognized it, sorry you didn't. Where is your "don't waste your breath" post towards him? What I'm trying to do is deter further posts of solicitation, as we as regulars have a responsibility to do, so that when new readers show up, they're not bombarded with requests to go to other forums and play at certain sites. That's not what this forum is for. It's Friday, have a good weekend, but feel free to skip over my posts in the future. | ||

To Risky, First..... pardon me for not quite getting your sense of humor.........although I usually have no problem with people who are genuinely trying to just be funny. I don't watch that many movies, so your quotes are new to me. So the next time you quote something, keep it in mind before you ask me "personally" if "I get it", because honestly I don't! ( you made a comment about not liking agitators, addressed it to me once again......but I had no idea that was a movie quote, so look at it from my view for a moment). This is what I was addressing to you Risky, it had nothing to do with your posts entirety .......understand? And you are definitely right on the fact that this is a "poker forum". Let's try not to confuse this place with the chat rooms that are out there. Now let's talk POKER. Agreed? I sure hope so. You have a nice weekend as well. Maybe this was a misunderstanding on both parts. I'm going to take it as that and move on.....you as well, okay? 4 POKER | ||
