| Played a freeroll this morning on UB. Wanted to play aggressive, but soon reverted to my tight game once I got some nice chips. Played very smart. Didn't get mad when my AJs, paired when an Ace flopped, I went all in, got called by KK only to see a K fall on the turn. Lost 800 but thought it was the right move. Pair of Aces with strong kicker and chance to kill a player. Continued to play smart and even get more chips. When I started there were 5 active players and 5 asleep players. Typical for UB freerolls. We were down to 3 active including me and 7 asleep with 500 or less and 50/100 blinds. Table chip leader had 5000+, knocked out other 2 active players. Other player had 2000 or so, I had 2500. Chip leader was stealing blinds from the dead. I get 88 in the BB only to see him raise. I am sure he is just stealing. I am 55th out of 254 or so. Top 50 pay. Would you risk calling his probable blind steal? Would you re-raise? Would you go all in? Some other hands with chip leader that might help your choice. I was BB, he limped. We are heads up. I flop top pair with 3 5 8 when I hold K8. He bets 500 into a less than 200 pot. I think he is buying the pot, but fold not wanting to risk him pairing on turn or river. Another hand: I am to act before him and we are heads up. Flop is rags. I think I was BB. I come out betting. He folds. I feel this is a sign that he won't chase everything. THE RESULTS. I go all in. He calls with KJo. Hits his J on the turn after rags on the flop. I think if I had to do it again. I would call. Make a pot sided bet on the flop. If he calls, I am done betting. If he raises, I fold. | ||

| Doc when you ask whether you made the right choice the answers are very different depending on what you are going to be satisfied with as an outcome in this tournament. If you want to make the money then folding is an easy choice however if you want to try and win do what you did and get it all in before the flop. You are so likely to hold the best hand against a button raise so get your money in there!!!!! I like your choice...GO FOR THE WIN!! GRANT PITTMAN | ||

| How many chips did you have left and what you did you go all-in on in that last hand? Did you go all-in preflop or after the flop? I only ask b/c you were beat by a pair of Jacks and wondered if you got stealing, or you had something playable and got outdrawn. | ||
