Where to play in Vegas if new, enthejungle, 18. Aug 2003 20:49

I have been playing poker for about 4yrs. now. I have been playing seriously for about a year now (25-40hrs/wk) I will be going to Vegas at the end of the month, first part of next month. Could someone give me some suggestions of where to play rather low limit holdem, that locals don't frequent all that often. Any information or links would be greatly appreciated. Thank-you

Go to the Mirage...They have a tourist base.....another idea might be the Orleans.....they have a lot of low limit action.

Play at Bellagio. It's a nice room with any limit action you want.Lots of locals and tourists so everyone is comfortable. I will also be there at the same time so come and say hi to Roy Cooke and I when you are there. Good luck. GRANT PITTMAN

I played 4-8 at Bellagio last week, I recommend it. Don't worry too much about the locals, the ones who were at my table were total rocks and were easy to read and bluff. It was a good mix of people though, and I did quite well. Should be very comfortable for you.
