I have been playing in a large card-room for a while now. I have only recently began to see the light; i.e. I have been reading all of the books talked about on these boards and have taken valuable suggestions from all of you.

First off all thanks to you all, I am playing 100% better.

I was wondering a couple of things..

The other day I was playing in my first tournament. Out of 6 full tables, I managed to find my way to the last table. Based on what others players had, I would say that I had an average stack of chips. Do people typically stay out of games at this point, unless they have the very top of cards; In order to secure a higher position? I ended up calling an all-in with a pair of 22. The opponent turned over Q9o and flopped a Q; taking me out. Obviously this is NOT how I played the game up until this point. I think that I lost sight of the big picture.

Also, I noticed that a player pulled out an odds chart during the game. Is this legal? Can a player have an odds chart or a pre-flop start chart at the table?

Thanks
JunkBuster
