Hi

It often appears to me that players try too much to avoid good players and not take seats in good games because good players are there!......It is much more important to play with the bad players than avoid the good ones....

Good Point Roy. In fact, if I know the good player is highly game selective I am eager to get on the same table as him because his presence there is a good indicator that it's a good game. Of course it's not as good as it would be if he wasn't there, but you can't have everything. lol

Roy,

I definitely agree with that. You can never get all of the money on the table. If your not cheating then it just isn't possible. I actually think it is more profitable for a number of good players to peel checks off of a few bad ones (If they've got a wad of cash they're dying to put in play). I think in these situations that good players can expose bad players weaknesses to others at the table. If you're sitting there watching 4 humps with nothing checking and calling each other like some sort of lotto it's a waste of time. I have to believe when I sit down that I can get more from a fish than a superior player can get from me, and at the same time I just may learn a thing or two from the good player(s).
