Hi,

I'm new to the group so this may be an old subject. What is your opinion on the July 31st Senate S. 627 action? Is this going to be another "Prohibition-like" mess or do you think we can continue?

I'd appreciate your input. Thanks. Eureka37

HI Ms. Green and welcome-- The consensus is the legislation once they get done tinkering with it will not--NOT have an adverse effect on online poker. The recognized authority on "Gambling and the Law' is Prof. Nelson Rose of Whittier College in California.
. He is very astute and also a nice man and friend of poker. You can reach him at Card Player.com. He writes a column for Card Player magazine
