| Yes.......but they will be entitled to pay all their blinds as well. The blinds will automatically be deducted from that players stack even if they have chosen to sit out. (at least that's the way it's done in a "live" tournanment). | ||

| MXS, I was trying to figure out why you would be asking so many very specific questions about issues that most players don't really need to know about. That is, things usually taken care of by th ehouse. Are you starting your own cardroom and need these details for it? Or are you writing software for a online/computer based cardroom? | ||

| Sounds to me like he's writing software. I would caution him that if he computer education comes from anywhere on the subcontinent other than IIT, he's probably wasting his time. | ||

| In this case, the player is dealt to, and automatically folded off preflop. If he is in one of the blinds, then he gives up the blinds. -Moz "mmmm.... open faced club sand wedge." | ||

| Soemtimes works out for the best, sitting out. My computer was disconnected in a game that I just started playing, a ten person single table tournament. When I finally reconnected back to the table after twenty minutes, four people had been eliminated from the No Limit Hold'em game. I caught a few hands when I went back in and won the tournament. I wouldn't recommend this though... :) | ||
