| I´ve recently started to play sit & gos at pokerstars and I´ve been quite succesful, in the money in about 2/3. I usually play very tight in the early rounds and get alot more aggresive later on. The problem I have is when the guy left to me is very aggresive and often with the chip lead. If it try to steal, this guy will very often reraise. I figure that the best thing to do in this situation is to wait for really good cards and try to double up. This strategy works sometimes but more often I will be blinded out. What would you do in this situation? | ||

| I hate having a pushy big stack directly to my left in tournament play. In a sit-n-go it isn't as bad as in a full tourney because the game will become shorthanded soon enough, neutralizing his agression. When I get a guy like this I basically have to play with one hand on my stack firmly. I don't limp and only raise with an excellent hand. Then if he reraises I'm willing to shove all in. What does that mean? Well, it means that you'll look like a dummy when you raise your AKo, get reraised, push all in, and get shown AA. Everybody at the table will say, "I saw that coming," but you'll get paid off when you do that and get shown A8 ... the other players will be suspiciously quiet then. Playing with a large stacked maniac to the left of you sucks and I hate it - I am just itching for my table to break or for somebody to come against him with a monster and break him. Luckilly, the guys who are maniacs with big stacks usually aren't for long and you can play some real poker when they melt. | ||
