No limit hold'em hand, Schuster, 13. Aug 2003 00:45

We're playing a no limit cash game at a buddy's house. It's just 3 of us. To my right is a player who is notoriously overaggressive in our no limit games but had been behaving earlier in the night for our limit games, and to my left is a player is a little too tight. I'm in the small blind with Ks Jd, blinds are 5 and 10 (cents). Everyone had bought in for 5 bucks and it was relatively early. The button opens for a raise to 25, I call and the big blind folds. The pot is currently 60. The flop is As Qh 7s, giving me a gutshot and a backdoor nut flush draw. I check and the button opens for 50. At this point I'm fairly sure he paired the ace, and that he would probably pay me off if I spiked a 10. Call here or let it go?

Fold - Best option
Raise - second best
call - awful

Pot odds dont justify it. You have 4 true outs... making you about 10:1 to hit on the turn. When you miss what do you do... call again if he bets ?

If the guy has $3000 in front of him you could justify the call on the massive implied odds ( presuming he is willing to bet them all if you hit ), other than that fold fold fold !!!
