| If they don't hire some dealers from the Taj soon their WPT event is going to be a disaster. These people couldn't even keep track of the betting in a 3/6 limit game, e.g. letting someone raise from 6 to 9 on the turn?? Some other things that happened when I was playing on sunday: 1) They didn't even know the rules. One dealer I had gave an un-even bet on a tie to a player based on the suit of his cards (the rule for stud games) as opposed to the closest to his left (the rule for button games). 2) Accidentally leaving cards out of the deck that a player had not returned to the dealer and were still tucked under his chips. 3) Not alerting the floor staff to open seats. We had *three* open seats and there were at least 6 people on the waiting list but none of them ended up at our table. I could go on and on....but I will stop. Nice casino, shady operating... | ||

| stuff like that is inexcusable, maybe the people waiting wanted 2/4 stakes instead of 3/6 but that sucks about everything else. | ||

In Arizona, the indians are currently training over 500 new dealers. In the meantime the geniuses at Mohegan Sun are closing their poker room. An executive was quoted as saying " we don't see much of a future for poker so we're closing the room and installing slots ". If you can establish a dialogue with anyone at the Borgata, suggest they go after the dealers at Mosun. it's not that far away. Fuel the boom "---Gary > > 1) They didn't even know the rules. | Hey Gary, I was hoping that The Borgata was going to get a whole new line up of dealers, instead, I was informed that so many of the dealers from the Tropicana and The Taj have moved over there. Not saying that these dealers aren't compitent because so many of the dealers in AC are great, but maybe they recruited some of the newer, less experienced ones.......who knows. Maybe The Borgata just needs to get the "kinks" out still and by the time I return, they'll be more under control! LOL!.........and if not.......It's back to the Taj! 4P- | ||

| the problem as far as i could tell was that a lot of the dealers were transplants from other games. at least two of the dealers admitted to me they had just moved to poker from dealing blackjack. they also seemed to be moving them from different limits *and* different games. i.e. a stud dealer going to an omaha game and then to a hold 'em game. there was a lot of plaque checking and "what are we playing here?" going on. | ||
