| I think it's time to brush off your best mouse mats, pull up your comfiest chair get ready for me cracking aces again with garbage - UPF 3 is here !!!!! I will sort it out if everyone wants Things i need to know are: 1) What date is best for people ( i think it will take at least 2 weeks to sort out / give people notice ) 2) What day is good for people ( i know there was talk of a weekend at some point ) 3) What time is good for people ( best if you do EST which i know as being the time on UB - remember i am time zones away form you guys) 4) What buy in i suggest $20 but am open to suggestions either up or down from that I will also try and strike a deal with UB and see if we can wangle some more cash out of them ( i will use me as a prime example of opening an account with them and playing there ! ) or at least some free hats / trip to Aruba.... When answering if you could put for example 1) 2 weeks 2) Saturday 3) 8pm ( EST ) 4) $20 I will sort out scree names etc later on once i have an idea of when we are doing it. | Anytime, anyplace, anywhere ... I'm in!!! I have a special deal with the Warden for UPF Tourney's. He tells the hacks to let me use the Computer room whenever I need, and I .... Well ... | Hey, all. I've been visiting UPF for months and post every once in while. Similar to having a regular tournament, I was wondering if there would be any interest in a weekly ring game. I play at Party/Empire and they allow you to create private tables. However, I have accounts at various sites so it doesn't have to be at Party. Also, we can probably work out a limit that everyone is comfortable with but is still worth playing. I was thinking anywhere from 1-2 to 3-6. Perhaps make it a Wednesday night thing (or whatever day works out for the majority). Anyways, just a thought. If you're interested just respond and we'll see if we can get it going. Thanks. | ||

| No specific date, just a few days notice would be sufficient. Would prefer a weekday evening, but will find time for anything. $22-$33 should be okay. If they want to throw in a spot in one of the Aruba satelites for first place, so much the better. I assume matching prize pool will not be offered this time around. | ||

| 1) Doesn't matter, but give me a few weeks notice. I need to open a UB account. 2) Doesn't matter to me. 3) As long as it's after 7pm EST, I'm good to go. 4) $20+2 would be my preference. I would play $30+3, but would rather keep it a bit lower. Lee | ||

| 1) Any date 2) Any day (weekday preferred, but not really a limiting factor) 3) PST, so EST-3. Don't mind skipping an hour of work, but... (9 EST+ is ideal) 4) I would cap it at about $20, which is still expensive for us newbies ;) Thanks for setting it up :) One thing that would be nice, if no one objects, is to be able to get a 'revealed' hand list for the entire tournament. Not only would the tourny be fun, it would ALSO be a learning excersize for everyone afterwords. But only if people don't mind having their hands revealed. You would probably have to get it from UB though? | ||

| Wren and I will be out stomping around British Columbia for all of next week, so we wouldn't be able to play until after next weekend. If you did it in 2.5 weeks on the weekend that would be best, I think. As for the money, $20 is great, but really I'll play for whatever stakes people want. Anything up to $50+5. How about making this one a pot limit omaha 8 tourney, for the sake of variety? | ||

| Thursday nights work far better for me. Saturday nights are difficult for me. I would vote to keep the game on Thursday night. But whatever night you do it, I will try to play. I am definitely in for a Thursday Night or Friday afternoon (before Labor Day I take Friday's off). $10 or $20 is fine by me. | ||

| During my lurking days (UPF tournament 2) I remember seeing something about UB setting up a special download link for UPF people signing up for UB (so they would be added to the "UPF list" at UB). Did this ever happen? I'm not signed up with UB yet, but would be very interested to join the tournament (you have to have some "dead money" in there ;-) and if this link was available I might as well use it. -Magnus | ||
