Hey Greg,

Both sites are good but I think Poker Stars may offer you more selection and volume for sit-n-gos' and tourneys'. They really are the lead site for this type of poker, but you can simply download both sites and check it out for yourself if you'd like.

I would actually say that Party has more s and g 's but i beleieve the multi's at Stars to be a lot better. As another option i found Paradise s and g 's to be easier than any other place and built a good bankroll there just playing the s and g's.

Cheers
Chase

Stars has by far the best format. Blinds increase by a time limit, not every 10 hands, and you get more chips to start. However, the quality of players is also better at Stars, IMHO. Also, a typical SNG takes some time to fill up before starting. They're also great for small two table tourney that usually go about 90 minutes. And, of course, for full tourneys, no one is better than Stars.

Party SNGs are poorly formatted, IMHO. You only get 800 and by hand 21 the blinds are already 50/100. A little too fast paced for me as it becomes too much of a crapshoot too quickly. On the plus side, Party has really terrible players. Also, the speed at which a table fills up and starts at Party is some sight to behold. An empty table starts up and is often filled in a half minute.

I like Paradise's SNGs a lot. Players are almost as bad as Party and the format is a bit more forgiving. It isn't until hand 41 that the blinds move to 50/100 and you get 1000 to start. This gives you some time to wait for others to bust out and generally more manuvering room before it get's to the crapshoot stage.

I have deleted the portions above delaing with Stars and Paradise as I have no playing experience there. Having said that ....

First, a correction. Party blinds start at 10/15, then 15/30, 25/50, then 50/100 on hand 41. I consider this to be an advantage for me. Also, I would tend to say that the crapshoot part is at the very beginning and by the time the 50/100 blinds are reached it is very unusual to have more than 6 players remaining. I agree that tables at party fill VERY quickly at the $5 and $10 games.

They also empty out VERY quickly, it is truly amazing when you see 4 players go all-in on the very first hand. :-)

I am a very experienced player and have played at both sites. There is no question that PokerStars is the superior site.
