I join a $10 NL SnG at Party Poker last night. I have seen some wild games there but this takes the cake.

By the 20th hand, I was in the money. I had 1590, chip leader had 5695, and small stack had 715. This small stack never played a hand to get to the money, not a big deal since there were only 20 hands.

Other highlights:
First hand - (Maniac) Player goes All in on the turn - High card Ten. (My JTo would have beat him)

6th Hand - Maniac player re-raise a 70 raise to 400. Bet 400 to sleal(?) 110 pot, when someone raised with AKs. Maniac had J4s!!! He lost.

10th Hand - 2 people drop out. AA and 56s lost to 4To. AA raised 85. 2 callers. Flop 4s 5s 4d. AA goes all in. Ooops.

11th Hand - I get 66 on the button. Flop a set. Slow play and win 910

12th Hand - 2 people drop out. QQ and AKo busted by Maniac's 47o. Maniac raised 400 preflop. QQ goes all in. (660). Maniac and AKo call. Maniac put AKo all in with flop bet. Board [2c 7s 3h 4c 9h]. Maniac wins with two pair, 7s and 4s.

15th Hand - I bust out 1 player. I had 89o in the BB. Maniac and SB call. Flop: 7c 9s 9d. Maniac bets 125. SB Calls. I raise 275. (Should have called because Maniac folded). SB all in with Td Js. Board: 7c 9s 9d Kc 7d. Full house for me.

18th hand - 1 player drops. 8sAc lost to chip leader's 7s Jd. 8A goes all in after turn. Ad Qs 7c 7h. River comes 7d. Full house lost to 4 of a kind.

19th hand - Maniac drops. Maniac was 2nd in chips. 2355. Last place had 715. Maniac went allin after flop while holding 88. He was raised 475 and went all in. Other hand Qd Js. Flop: Qs 4c 6d.
Truely amazing how this maniac played.

Bad news: the small stack tripled up because the chip leader made a few bad calls. I can see calling to get a player out, but not when you are holding garbage. I became short stack after a few blind steals failed.

Went all in with A6o while on the button. Chip leader in SB called with A4o. He flopped A and 4. Heart break. Oh well, 3rd is better than nothing

Why would you throw around your money at the end there like a drunken sailor? Just because you are heads up doesn't mean you should be pushing all in with A6o. In 20 hands the blinds must have gone nowhere yet.

At this point the blinds where 100/200. I had 753 in chips.

Was hoping to steal the blinds. The BB was 2nd in chips (3120), and I didn't think he would call. The SB was the chip leader (4127).

If I stole the blinds, I would have some breathing room. Figured an Ax was pretty good. If I had AK, I still would have lost...

Is 753 in chips with 100/200 too early?

If you only had 753 and the blinds are 100 and 200, then pushing all in is alright. Only 53 more chips than a pot sized raise, so I'd say you're good.

How could the blinds be so high on a 20 hand game? Am I missing something?
