Hi all,

Well I played my first live game in an American pokerroom and it was more then I had ever imagined. It looked like I walked into the set of a bad low budget movie with all these characters with cowboyhats, sunglasses and other gimmicks.
I had to wait 2 hours to get me a seat on a 3/6 holdem table cause of the badbeat jackpot set fairly high. I played for 50 minutes to be waiting for another 2 hours cause they had a tournament ( full ) and had to break up the tables.
Played for one hour until the wife had enough of shopping downtown at 100 degrees. Man is it hot or not.

I walked out a $40 winner and had a great time and I wanna play more...........aah honey can I huh huh..pleease.?

The book of tells book I bought a few days ago sure came in handy and I am only midway the book . This is because I started in Amarillo slim and could not stop reading ,is that a character or what. And I thought I saw and did some things in my life but I need 10 of more lives to even come close.

Still 6 more days to convince my brother to drive me for 2 hours to go to the pokerroom.

I am loving it.

Greetings,
Tommy.

He said earlier that he was coming to Columbia Missouri. Two hours drive sounds like St. Louis instead of Kansas City.

It's Kansas its the same drive from Columbia as st.louis.
And it was that hot we are not used to the humidity.

Anyway I rented a car with airco for a week and did a piece of the old route 66 which was great.
Met this country blues singer and his band (Gary "Arkansas slim" Sloan} and had a great night .Had a real hard day after that but that all comes with the roadlife hehehe.

Had to bring the car back so only got transport without airco which we try to avoid.

thx for the replies.

tommy.
