| Heading up to Vegas from Phoenix for a few days. Wanted to know where the best holdem tournaments are and what times and days are they. Preferably thurs thru sun. I heard Station, Mirage and some others have thus,fri noon tournaments. I know they are listed in the back of CardPlayer magazine but I wanted to know first hand if anyone has a preference. | I like pokerpages.com to find out tournaments. You can type in the specific cardroom and dates and find out what is going on for many cardrooms. I like the Orleans tournaments since they are generally low-buyin and have a variety. You can also check out the casino's webpage for their specific cardroom games and tourney information. | Slate, The Mirage does hold some nice tournaments and the turnout is always good, but The Orleans offers tournaments with a much cheaper buy-in. Just something to think about. Good luck. | ||

| so many tourneys you couldnt play then all in a 10,000 hour week. crap player is a good source for most of the tourneys . call the poker rooms in town to see if the except call ins and when registration opens. | ||
