| 10 handed NL game..... board has 2 hearts on it, final heart comes on the river.... 3 people all in...... all 3 people have 2 hearts in the hole. myself included..... and none of us even held the nut flush =) | ||

| I've seen that happen before at least a couple of times. I'm feeling a bit lazy to do the math, but I wouldn't call it that increadible. You have 13 hearts in the deck and you need to put 3 pairs in peoples hands - that alone is easy to do. You're then left with 7 hearts in the deck and only 3 of them need to hit the board. I'd guess that on a hand where you hold a flush at river time (with 3 on board) you could say that there's probably in the order of magnitude of a 1 in 10,000 chance that 2 other players have a flush. Maybe it is more common than that, but 1/10,000 would be my guess. | ||
