Buy In ??
============
During the course of an active game if a player goes out off chips (suppose in third bet round), can he buy and add more chips from his current wallet before giving his bet? If yes then how much time he should be provided to go for this process online? Is it feasible to allow such player to use his credit card to update his current balance and buy more chips for playing current hand if he does not have money in his bankroll.

Mandeep,

Real simple......a player can NOT go into his pocket or get more chips from his account (if playing on-line) *during* the hand. He can only buy more chips after that hand is completely finished ....never during.

Hey Mandeep,
Just an addition to 4poker. If you are playing live, there are some places (mostly vegas) that will allow you to play cash as long as it is on the table before the hand starts.
Generally, before you go to play, decide how much you are willing to spend on the game. When I play 3-6 I take $200. I always buy in for $100. If I ever get below $40, I will buy another rack before the start of the hand. I don't ever want to catch a hand and not have the money to bet it. The reason why I buy another rack as opposed to $20 or $40 more, is that I don't want to keep digging into my pockets and feeling desperate. Scared money is often lost money.
Online, you can do the same thing. Get more money before the hand starts, but never during a hand.
Good luck. Sorry I rambled. Djpoker

Even more important is that you don't want to appear desperate to the other players. Adding to your buy-in with small money is going to seem that way. You just make yourself a target when you are continuing to play with a small stack. So it's important that if you do have to re-up that you pull out a c-note.
